The Princeton Review Reports Harding University as the Best College
Searcy, Arkansas — According to the decision made by the Princeton Review, the esteemed national services company recognized as such across the state, Harding University has been proclaimed one of the most prominent Southeast colleges. Harding University is among the four Arkansas schools in total to make the list. Moreover, the college is one of the 142 organizations to be recommended for the prestigious title in the “Best in the Southeast” category of the website feature “2020 Best Colleges: Region by Region.”
Over the course of the current year, 656 American colleges, inclusive of Harding University, proved to be academically noteworthy. The Princeton Review selection was made based on data the association collected at several hundred colleges, in accordance with school administrators. Surveys regarding a certain school’s academics, campus community, administration, and students’ personal experiences contributed to the research. The answer format of the survey applies a five-point Likert scale to adapt qualitative student evaluation to quantitative data with the purpose of comparing and contrasting schools.
According to the University President, Dr. Bruce McLarty, the school’s position does not only demonstrate its academic excellence, but also the type of students who opt for attending it. He continued by stating that he considers the recognition to be an honor for the University, not only in the academic sense, but also in terms of the exceptional and transformative environment it offers.
The 142 colleges that were proclaimed as the “Best in Southeast” are situated in 12 states in total: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
